Don't want to dive everyday? Don't worry! At Royal Playa there are plenty of Caribbean style activities for our guests to choose from if diving is not on your daily agenda. We believe our guest's vacations should be exciting explorations. We can gladly arrange trips to the east end of the island for diving and lunch in the shallow turquoise waters of the picturesque Pigeon Cayes.

Royal Playa also provides opportunities for individual adventure, allowing guests to kayak to deserted islands once laden with pirate treasure, or hike through untouched jungle in the Roatan Nature Reserve. The reserve, dedicated in 1971, is full of tropical birds including three types of wild parrots.

Our guests looking to simply relax and enjoy a cool breeze, find themselves aboard our Hobie Wave sail boat, wind surfing, or laying in a secluded hammock.

Because the US dollar spends easily on the island
($1 US = $18 Lempiras), Royal Playa guests enjoy shopping in town and experiencing Roatan's unique island culture.
